Bandicam

Bandicam is a video and screen capturing utility designed especially for video gamers and YouTube LPers. It allows users to record areas of your screen on programs using DirectX and OpenGL graphics acceleration.

The main function of Bandicam is to grab what you see on your screen, but this shareware program goes a little bit further by offering high compression ratios for your saved videos, perfect for uploading to sites like YouTube. It tries to maintain the quality of the recorded video while producing acceptable file sizes.

This capture program is known for being able to record videos from World of Warcraft, Minecraft, Terraria and other games running on Windows. Without using its support for DirectX programs, Bandicam can also record what is being viewed on your PC monitor from virtually every type of Windows program.

This software also supports frame rate control (under the FPS tab) and can even add the FPS to the end video. Dubbed as a Fraps alternative, able to compress videos, capture game-play and can record videos in high definition.
